When Anne's first husband died, (he fell over board while the ship was anchored in port) it was suggested that she take her husband's money and
quickly invest it. The investment she chose was a growing and profitable shipping business.

Anne met Nigel Everet Louis and the two found that a marriage would be most lucrative; Nigel enjoyed being at sea and Anne was quite talented at handling the business. The company that was formed by this union is known as Vrijbuit Shipping Company.

Anne is a shrewd business woman. Even against adversities, she stops at nothing to insure the profits of the company. She can hold her own quite well
against anyone, whether it is business, fighting or the drinking of scotch.
